WHAT TO EXPECT DURING
YOUR EYE EXAM?
- Upon your arrival, we will ask you questions to get to know you better, and propose the best solutions for your eye health. To help us with this, it is beneficiary to bring your most recent eyeglasses as well as a list of any medications you are taking.
- Next, our optometric assistants will take your measurements before the actual exam.
- The optometrist will then assess the health of your eyes, and based on your exam, they may want to see you again for a follow-up appointment. At a follow-up appointment, your optometrist may want to dilate your eyes; if so, you will need to arrange transportation home, and please bring sunglasses as you may be light sensitive and have blurry vision.
- At the end of your exam, the doctor will explain your prescription to you and any other concerns, such as referrals for any eye health issues.
